Del Webb Welcomes Home a Legend

It was an evening filled with gratitude, friendship, and hope — a celebration worthy of a man who has given so much to those around him.

On October 2nd, the Del Webb community gathered in celebration to welcome home one of its most beloved residents, Victor “Vic” Cardi. After suffering a stroke on August 18th, Vic spent several weeks in the hospital and rehab before returning home on September 23rd. His homecoming marked not just a milestone in his recovery but a true testament to the strength and spirit of community that defines Del Webb.

Vic is well known across the neighborhood for his leadership and generosity, particularly through his involvement with Webb Cares and other charitable causes. His neighbors wanted to honor that same giving spirit with a joyous celebration that transformed Tramonto Avenue into a lively block party. Music filled the air thanks to DJ Moonlight, while laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts echoed well into the evening.

Adding to the warmth of the occasion were Vic’s close friends from the Bourbon and Cigar Boyz, of which he proudly serves as President. Neighbors from across the community joined in, sharing food, drinks, and stories that highlighted Vic’s impact on their lives.

The most memorable moment came when Vic, with deep emotion, thanked everyone for their unwavering prayers, visits, and encouragement throughout his recovery. He also offered special recognition to his wife, Dana, whose love and strength have been his constant source of support.
