Meet Priority One Plumbing & Heating

About the Business:

Established in 2018, Priority One Plumbing & Heating is a full-service plumbing and heating for both residential and commercial applications. We currently employee seven people, all trained by Master Plumber Andrew Mulcahy, and we live by the philosophy, "Quality is our Priority."

Priority One was incubated through BDL Heating & Cooling, a full-service HVAC
contractor specializing in the installation of forced hot air systems for residential,
commercial, and new construction applications. BDL had a need for a plumber to
handle heating installations and brought on Andrew. There was a big need for
plumbers in the area that could provide 24/7 emergency services and respond quickly.
We needed scalability, not a one-man show, and Priority One was created!

Priority One provides service, maintenance and installation of high-efficiency
boilers, water heaters and gas piping. We also provide service and installation of all plumbing fixtures, including toilets, faucets and tubs.

What makes us different:

1. Quality of work — our meticulous attention to detail surpasses no other, and we cut
no corners to deliver a high level of quality every time.
2. Ease of customer service — we are available 24/7, 365 a year. We have a very
organized infrastructure and a great maintenance program.
3. Deep knowledge of the industry — we are refreshingly honest and don’t try to
oversell clients. We truly listen to the customers' needs and react to what they
want and what they can afford. We don’t provide a cookie-cutter approach, don’t
work off commission and don’t oversell.
4. Financing — We work with different financing programs and are also a Mass Save
partner. We work extensively with the Mass Save 0% interest heat loan program,
helping customers to obtain 0% interest financing on high-efficiency heating and
water heater upgrades.

About the Owners:
Brian Lithway is the president and owner of BDL Heating & Cooling. With over 25
years of HVAC, he has a deep knowledge of the industry. He graduated from The New
England Institute of Technology in 1992 and holds a master sheet metal license,
refrigeration tech license, and many other certifications. Brian mostly handles sales, business development, and company vision.

Andrew Mulcahy is the master plumber. He graduated from Tri-county Regional
School in the HVAC program, while in high school, he owned a vending machine business called C Andy Vending, which prompted his love of working with his hands. After
graduating, he worked for Boston Heating and Cooling, working in both residential and
commercial equipment. During his time there, Andrew attended masters plumbing and
gas school, obtaining his journeyman and masters plumbing license. He also holds a mass refrigeration tech license. In 2018, he started his own business called Bay City
Mechanical but ultimately decided to join forces with Brian and Josh to help him bring a
higher quality of customer service to his clientele. Andrew's focus is on operations and
field support.
Josh Wietecha joined BDL in 2010 while attending Worchester State University, obtaining a BS in business administration with a dual concentration in accounting and marketing. After graduating magna cum laude and working as a field tech with BDL,
he transitioned to leadership, managing the day-to-day operation and growth. He also
attended Gould Construction Institute and holds a mass state sheet metal license, EPA
608 universal certification, NFPA hot works certification, Mitsubishi M&P Certification
and Mitsubishi City Multi Certification. Josh’s role in the business is sales, project
management, financial management, business development, human resources and
coordination with customers on all financing activities, including work with the Mass
Save Heat loan program.
