The Importance of Volunteer Leadership in Our HOA

Our neighborhood thrives because of the dedicated volunteers who serve on the HOA Board of Trustees. Several of our current Trustees have generously given their time for more than three years, demonstrating a true concern for the well-being and future of our community.

We encourage all residents to consider becoming involved. Serving as a Trustee is a meaningful way to contribute, bring fresh perspectives, and help guide decisions that impact us all.

In addition, the Board is currently working on a multi year plan for long-term neighborhood maintenance. This plan is expected to be finalized by the end of Q1 2026 and will serve as a roadmap to keep our community well-maintained and strong for years to come.

Your participation matters. Please consider stepping forward and helping shape the future of our neighborhood.
Please reach out to Jennifer Grooms via email at  jgrooms@ohioequities.com to express your interest. She will provide next steps on how you become a Trustee.

November is a season of gratitude and connection. As we prepare our homes for family gatherings, festive celebrations, and the upcoming holidays, it’s also a good time to remember the small steps that keep Tartan Fields safe, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone.

Here are a few helpful reminders for the season:

Holiday Décor Safety:  Use outdoor-rated extension cords and lights, avoid overloading outlets, and secure decorations properly to prevent damage from wind or weather.

Package Deliveries: With online shopping at its peak, consider having packages delivered to a secure location, use tracking alerts, and be watchful for neighbors’ deliveries to deter porch theft.

Travel Preparation: Heading out of town for the holidays? Let a trusted neighbor know, pause your mail, and set lights on timers to give your home a lived-in look.

Fire Prevention: Keep candles, fireplaces, and space heaters attended and away from flammable items to ensure cozy nights remain safe.

Drive With Care: More guests and delivery drivers will be on our streets—please slow down and keep an eye out for children at play.

Most importantly, November is a chance to come together as neighbors. We invite you to attend the Annual Meeting on November 18th at 6:00 PM. It’s the perfect opportunity to stay informed, share your ideas, and play a part in shaping the future of our community.
