Our Evening at Symposium Wine Bar

Situated on the newest retail strip on West Main Street right in the heart of the village of Lancaster, and having just opened this past Spring sits the Symposium Wine Bar - where our kickoff event was held last month.
The establishment’s welcoming atmosphere along with the owners Katie and Chuck Heveron, who also live in the neighborhood, made it the perfect setting to host their neighbors – literally – as well as celebrate the launch of the new neighborhood newsletter! We are so grateful for their hospitality.
The evening featured a selection of wine from around the world and craft beer from local producers, in addition to a yummy assortment of seasonal cheeses and charcuterie selection with crackers, assorted Mediterranean olives, and cornichons.
Let’s Bounce Buffalo, one of our business sponsors, created a beautiful balloon display to frame our photo backdrop and also brought some delicious cake pops to serve as a sugary nightcap! Aliaksandra Photography also came out to capture moments during the event.
While everyone who attended is a winner, we did have a few who went home with some great prizes donated by our business sponsors.  Items included gift certificates and wine from Country Crossroads of Marilla, gift certificates to Pacific Underground Catering and Tommy Topsoil, complimentary training classes from MAC Fitness, a mini facial and some products from Advanced Body Care Salon & Spa, and a Bills Mafia Balloon Box from Let’s Bounce Buffalo. Thank you to our sponsors for your generosity!
Most that attended ranked Symposium the highest with a “5” for excellence in the categories of food/drink, atmosphere, presentation, service and overall.  Some things that residents enjoyed the most from the evening include “the company and neighbors, learning about Stroll, the atmosphere and of course the drinks!” Almost everyone said they would return and would also recommend a friend!
Thank you to all who came by for the first of more social events to come.
