Beyond the Numbers: How Invictus Shows Up for Families and Veterans
In lieu of this month’s Financial Fitness column, Invictus Advisory Services shares the causes closest to their team’s heart.
For Paul Isaac and Ryan Collins of Invictus Advisory Services, community service isn’t a side project—it’s part of how they lead. Each year, the team invests time and energy with nonprofits whose missions mirror their own focus on protecting what matters most: strong families, healthy kids, and the people who’ve served our country.
One long-standing connection is with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York, which provides a supportive “home base” for families with children receiving medical care. Recently, the Invictus team marked National Pizza with the Works (Except Anchovies) Day by cooking together in the House kitchen, tidying the grounds, and pitching in wherever needed—a day defined by teamwork, good food, and a clear purpose: easing stress for families during hospital stays.

The firm also supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, whose pioneering work in pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases changes outcomes for children nationwide. Paul and Ryan back efforts that keep St. Jude’s unique promise alive so families can focus on care—not bills—for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

A third priority is Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting Invictus’s respect for those who’ve served and sacrificed. Through local events and fundraising, the team helps sustain programs that connect injured veterans with mental health resources, career support, and community—practical steps that rebuild independence and dignity.

What unites these causes is simple: impact. A hot meal and a welcoming space when a child is in treatment. Research that pushes cures forward. Concrete support for veterans navigating what’s next. For Invictus, these efforts are a natural extension of their day-to-day work helping families make wise, values-aligned decisions.
“As advisors, we guide people through life’s big moments,” Paul and Ryan shared. “Supporting these nonprofits is another way we stand with families and neighbors—showing up, pitching in, and helping where it counts.”
