Hi there! I’m Churro Navarro—a one-year-old golden doodle with a heart full of fluff and a schedule tighter than a theme park parade. I was born on June 16, 2024 (feel free to mark your calendars), and I came into my family’s life as their very first pet. Can you believe they had no idea how much joy I’d bring? Spoiler alert: It’s a lot.

My humans found me through Doodles of Louisiana because they wanted to add a dog to the family—and honestly, I can’t imagine a better gig. They’re obsessed with Disney (which is great because same), and since “Churro” is Dad’s favorite snack at the parks—and my coat just so happens to be perfectly cinnamon-sugar colored—it felt like fate. I mean, have you ever seen a cuter namesake?

Now, I may be young, but I’ve got routines down to an art. Every night at exactly 9:30 p.m., I put myself to bed. I’m also a tidy pup—I'll pick up my toys and put them in my basket if treats are involved. Some call it advanced training. I call it excellent snack strategy. I rarely bark, which makes me the perfect low-drama roommate, and I absolutely adore everyone I meet—whether they walk on two legs or four. My favorite things include morning ice cubes (I wait by the fridge every time my humans leave for work), watching The Lion King, Puppy Dog Pals, and Bluey (yes, I have great taste in television), and strolling down to the pond to observe the ducks like I’m narrating my own National Geographic special. I also love a good coffee shop run—especially when there’s a pup cup involved—and playdates with my besties Honey, Goldie, and Gypsy are always on the agenda.

Despite my celebrity-level cuteness, I’m pretty down to earth. I’m affectionate, loyal, and always ready to snuggle or socialize—whatever the vibe calls for. And yes, I’m spoiled. I tag along on family outings, visit my grandparents often, and never say no to a trip to the pet store (it’s important to keep up with the latest toy trends).

Life as the first pup in the Navarro household is pretty magical. I might’ve been named after a Disney treat, but I’m the one who turned their world into a happily ever after.

Catch you at the pond,
Churro
