Matthew Ory was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana but has strong family ties to Acadiana and St. Mary Parish. “My family is from Franklin with the majority now living here in Lafayette,” he said. “Most of my cousins went to St. Thomas More. My grandpa, Teddy Aycock, who lived in Franklin, La, was a former Lt. Governor of Louisiana serving under Governor Jimmy Davis for two terms. I’m very familiar with the area. My real estate partners and I are opening Smalls Sliders here in Lafayette in July 2023. I’m really excited to be a part of this parish.” 

 

“My passion is developing commercial real estate,” shared Matthew. “Through my own personal closing experiences wherein I was the buyer, I noticed things that could be different with title companies.
