Life with Bel Is Always Top-Shelf

Whether he’s posing for the camera, making new friends, or leaping over waves, Belvedere knows how to keep spirits high.

Name: Belvedere (Bel)
Breed: Toy Poodle (male)
Humans: Thomas LeMaire and Sandie McNabb

Hi neighbors! My name is Belvedere, but you can call me Bel. I’m a toy poodle with a big personality packed into a little body. I came to live here after a sweet couple realized they traveled too much to give me the attention I deserve. Lucky for me, I found my forever home when I was just a year old.

People always ask about my name. Yep, it’s true, I’m named after the vodka. Pretty classy, right? Belle for short. It suits me perfectly because, like the drink, I’m smooth, stylish, and a little bit of fun at every party.

My favorite pastime? Destroying squeaky toys. If it squeaks, it’s not safe. Don’t worry, though, tennis balls are my true love. I’ll fetch them for hours, whether on dry land or jumping waves at the beach. Snow, however, is another story. Last year, I made my opinion clear: no thank you! Rain is also not my thing. If it’s wet outside, I politely take care of business on the outdoor mat instead.

I may be small, but I’m smart. Sometimes I even play fetch with myself by dropping my ball off the bed and chasing after it. And when my humans leave without me? Let’s just say the car ride is my favorite part of any adventure, so I definitely pout if I’m left behind.

Everyone says I’m well-behaved and never meet a stranger. I’d rather hang out with people than dogs any day. Plus, I’m quite photogenic! I always manage to smile when someone points a camera at me.

Of course, none of my adventures would be possible without my favorite humans. They’re the reason I get to live this top-shelf life full of beach trips, car rides, and endless tennis balls. I may be the star of the photos, but they’re the real VIPs in my story.

Forever Fetching,
Bel
