My Story

Shaped by Tradition, Inspired by Beauty

The Nassif Family

I often think my story began long before I was born—somewhere in the mountains of Lebanon, in the kitchens where my great-grandmother learned the traditions she would one day pass down to me. But the chapter I remember begins in Tucson, Arizona, where I grew up surrounded by the love, closeness, and warmth of my family.

Some of my most cherished memories are from those early mornings when I would tiptoe into the kitchen to find my great-grandmother already awake. She lived with us, and she filled our home with the smells, rituals, and stories of her homeland. I would help her knead dough for fresh Arabic pita bread, tiny hands working alongside hers. She would prepare trays of baklava with a touch so delicate and so practiced, it felt like watching art.

We sipped little cups of strong espresso together—my hands wrapped around the tiny cup, hers guiding mine—and she would tell me vivid stories about her life in Lebanon. Those mornings shaped me. They taught me patience, creativity, and the beauty of working with my hands. They are the reason why cooking, baking, and creating have always been part of who I am.

Becoming a Teacher—and an Artist at Heart

As I grew older, my love for children and learning led me to become an elementary school teacher. Teaching felt natural to me. It allowed me to nurture, inspire, and encourage—much like the women in my family did for me. Yet even during those years, my artistic passions were never quiet. Cooking, baking, interior design, art—they were always glowing in the background, waiting for their moment to shine.

How I Became a Pearl Jewelry Designer

About fifteen years ago, that creative spark became something more. I began designing jewelry, drawn almost instinctively to pearls—their softness, their timeless elegance, their quiet sophistication. Pearls feel alive to me. Each one is different, each one has a story, and each one carries a depth and luminosity that I find endlessly inspiring.

What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a full-fledged design business. I created each piece by hand, the way I was taught to work—with intention, with care, and with a deep respect for tradition. I poured myself into choosing every Pearl, every clasp, every detail.

To my amazement and gratitude, my work began receiving attention. My designs were featured in upscale designer boutiques, where shoppers seek unique, handcrafted luxury. My collections were showcased at the celebrated Canyon Ranch Spa in Las Vegas, a retreat known for its elegance and exclusivity. I was honored to see my jewelry placed in high-end boutiques inside Caesars Palace at The Forum Shops, one of the most iconic shopping destinations in Las Vegas.

And one of the most surreal moments of my life was seeing my work featured on the cover of Las Vegas Magazine. To see something I created—something that began in my hands—gracing the cover of a major publication was a milestone I will never forget.

Who I Am Today

When I reflect on my journey, I see threads that connect everything: my childhood in Tucson, the lessons I learned in my great-grandmother’s kitchen, the years I spent teaching, and the creative path I am on today. I am a designer, a teacher, an artist, a storyteller. I am someone who finds beauty in small things: a well-made cup of espresso, the sheen of a Pearl, the warmth of tradition, the elegance of simplicity.

My jewelry is more than an adornment. It is an extension of my heritage, my creativity, and my belief that beauty should feel personal and meaningful.

Looking Ahead
My story is still unfolding. I continue to design, explore, and create with the same passion that began in that little kitchen so many years ago. Every day, I am inspired by the women whose hands shaped mine, and by the women who wear the pieces I create.

This is my journey—rooted in tradition, guided by creativity, and shaped by love, family, and the enduring elegance of pearls. And truly, I feel like I’m just getting started.
