Meet the Prosser Family
A Family Full of Love, Style, and Roots

Nestled in the serene hills of Turtle Ridge, the Prosser family has built a vibrant and dynamic life grounded in family, dedication, and shared passions. Kirsten and Eddie Prosser, who have called Turtle Ridge home for over five years, are the proud parents of four accomplished children and grandparents to eleven energetic grandchildren. Their journey from a blind date in California to building a life in this idyllic neighborhood is as heartwarming as it is inspiring.
A Global Beginning
Kirsten’s journey began across the Atlantic in Denmark, where she was born and spent her childhood, with time also spent in neighboring Sweden. She fondly recalls the food, the culture, and the calm beauty of her homeland—places she still visits when time allows.
It was fate that brought her to California, where she met Eddie on a blind date. That date sparked a beautiful partnership that has lasted 25 years—with the couple recently celebrating their 25th anniversary on April 19th.
Eddie, a Florida native, was introduced early on to the automotive industry through his father, who owned a car dealership. He went on to build a successful career of his own in that field, honing his business acumen over the years. Eventually, seeking a new direction, Eddie made a pivot into the world of fashion retail, partnering with Kirsten to launch a new venture that combined their talents and entrepreneurial spirit.
Building a Stylish Empire
With a background in design and a keen eye for aesthetics, Kirsten always had a passion for fashion. That passion evolved into a full-fledged business venture when the couple opened OnQueStyle, a luxury consignment boutique in Corona del Mar, 15 years ago.
“We wanted it to feel nothing like a typical consignment store,” Kirsten says. “It had to feel luxurious, warm, and service-minded.” And that vision became reality. Today, OnQueStyle has a devoted clientele—60–70% of their customers are loyal regulars. Known especially for its curated collection of designer pieces—particularly Hermès handbags—the store blends timeless style with exceptional customer service. They also sell fun fashion-themed gift items, and their live Instagram sales have become a hit. (@OnQueStyle, for those who want to check it out!)
Now, they’re embracing the TikTok era and bringing fashion finds to new audiences with the same charm and enthusiasm that built their original following.
Life in Turtle Ridge
When the Prossers were looking for a new place to call home, Turtle Ridge wasn’t even on their radar. “We didn’t know much about the area,” Kirsten admits. “But as soon as our agent brought us here, we just fell in love.”
Moving in shortly before the pandemic turned out to be a blessing. With miles of peaceful trails and tranquil nature all around, it was the perfect retreat. “It’s the best-kept secret,” Kirsten says. “You can walk everywhere, the scenery is gorgeous, and it’s just such a comfortable place to live.”
Kirsten and Eddie split their time between their Turtle Ridge home, a Newport Beach home, and a getaway in La Quinta, where Eddie loves hitting the golf course. He's also a regular at Pelican Hill course in Newport. Kirsten finds joy in working out, running the store, and spending time with their grandchildren. The couple also enjoys traveling—when they can carve time away from the boutique. Kirsten tries to visit her family in Denmark and Sweden annually.
The Heart of the Prosser Family
Family is at the center of everything for Kirsten and Eddie. Their four children are all thriving and raising families of their own, adding rich layers to the Prosser legacy. Their eldest daughter, Trine, appears in the photos featured in this article alongside her three children—Aria (10) and twin boys, Lucas and Grayson (8). Kirsten and Eddie’s daughter, Jessica, and her husband, Joey, have two sons, Julien (7) and Jameson (6). Their son, Eddie Jr., and his wife, Caroline, have three boys: Jack (12), Tommy (7), and Grant (5). Their youngest son Nick, with his wife Kristen, rounds out the family with their three kids: Luca (10), Leo (8), and Quinn (5).
In every way, the Prosser family represents the best of Turtle Ridge: stylish yet grounded, community-focused yet worldly, and above all, centered on family. Whether it’s a quiet walk through the neighborhood trails, a round of golf, or a bustling weekend with grandkids, their days are filled with love, laughter, and legacy.
