Back to School, Back to Goals: Marlins Are Making Waves

Sharing inspiration from our coaches as our Marlins find focus out of the pool.

2026 Marlins Assistant Coaches

School is back in session, and while our summer swim season has come to a close, our Marlins swimmers are diving into a new season of learning, growth, and opportunity, both in and out of the pool. As they return to the classroom, reconnect with friends, and settle into new routines, our swimmers are embracing the challenges of a new school year with enthusiasm and determination.

The dedication, confidence, discipline, and perseverance our swimmers developed throughout the summer season will continue to serve them well in the classroom and beyond. Balancing academics with extracurricular activities, sports, and busy schedules takes commitment, and our swimmers continue to prove that the lessons learned in the pool—hard work, dedication, and teamwork—extend far beyond the water.

We are especially grateful for the coaches who helped make this season such a success. Coaches Prielle Zafft and Katherine Roberts hold a special place in the Marlins family, having grown from longtime Marlins swimmers into coaches who now lead and inspire the next generation. Their encouragement throughout the summer season was incredible, and their personal experiences as Marlins swimmers bring a meaningful perspective to every athlete they coach.
