Hello, Dolly!

This pup’s got big hair, a big heart, and even bigger dreams!

Get ready to fall head over paws for Dolly! She’s a four-month-old Bernedoodle who was recently adopted by Scott and Patty Samford, along with their three sweet children, Sawyer (12), Tatum (10), and Piper (3). She’s wiggled her way straight into their hearts with curls as bouncy as her personality and enough charm to make even Dolly Parton say, “Well, hello there, darlin’!”

Named after the legendary country queen herself, Dolly trotted into Patty’s family as a sweet surprise for the kids, a reward for making “straight A’s, straight A’s, straight A’s” (sung to the tune of “9 to 5,” of course). The family’s love for Dollywood made the name a natural fit, and it suits this little showstopper perfectly.

Hailing from the same Ohio breeder as her “doggy cousin” just a few miles away (Patty’s sister’s family), Dolly already has family ties in the area, and she’s quickly making herself known around the neighborhood. While she hasn’t picked up any fancy tricks yet, she’s got the kind of charisma that doesn’t need rehearsing. And when she's in the backyard, watching the golfers go by, you can almost hear her humming, “Here You Come Again.”

Though she’s not a fan of cars (they “tumble her heart” more than anything), she loves her bully sticks, exploring the yard, and bouncing around with a joyful energy that says, “Why’d You Come In Here Lookin’ Like That?”

Her arrival was truly a moment to remember, especially for the kids, whose excitement on delivery day will go down in family history as a “Coat of Many Colors” kind of memory: full of love, joy, and a little bit of puppy magic.

Still learning the ropes (and how not to escape the backyard), Dolly is well on her way to becoming the neighborhood’s next big star. So if you see her strutting her stuff with that signature sass, be sure to say hi, because this Dolly is working 24/7 on stealing hearts, one tail wag at a time!
