Super Siblings!
Meet Croy and Chloe Brown, a lovable sibling duo who have called Edinburgh home for three years. Stroll recently got to enjoy their company and hear how they spend their summer!

These two are quite the duo! Their family moved to Edinburgh just three years ago, and I had the exceptional experience of learning about their life and how they spend their summer break. Croy is ready to start 7th grade, and Chloe is entering 3rd grade. They are very active, both swimming for the Edinburgh Marlins, and they loved interviewing each other about their favorite sports. Here’s what they had to say!
Croy: “Chloe, what’s your favorite summer sport and why?”
Chloe: “My favorite summer sport is swimming! I love it because it’s super fun. I also love to dance! What about you, Croy?”
Croy: “I like to swim, but I also love basketball and soccer. Swimming is good because of the cardio.”
Chloe: “Do you have a favorite race in swimming?”
Croy: “Yeah, I like the 50 breaststroke. Do you have a favorite?”
Chloe: “The 25 backstroke for sure!”
Chloe: “Do you have other things you like to do in the summer besides sports?”
Croy: “I like to ride my bike, meet up with my friends, and sometimes hit the gym in the clubhouse!”
Chloe: *giggles*
Croy: “What about you, Chloe, what do you like to do besides swim?”
Chloe: “I love to draw, do crafts, ride my scooter, and build puzzles with mom.”
Chloe went on to show me some of her crafts and activities, as well as the current puzzle she and her mother are working on. After the craft extravaganza, the kids wanted to ask each other even more questions!
Chloe: “Do you have a favorite memory from any summers?”
Croy: “Definitely when we went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, for my birthday weekend!”
Chloe: “That’s my favorite too! That trip was so much fun!”
Croy: *laughs*
Switching gears, the two began discussing their families and friends. Including Chloe’s best pal, their cat Potato!
Croy: “Most of my friends don’t live in the neighbourhood, but they love to come here and we ride bikes, go to the pool, and play on the basketball court!”
Chloe: “One of my friends lives right across the street! We get to hang out all the time during the summer.”
Chloe: “We also love our family! My grandma is always around to be with us, and my parents teach me a lot!
Croy: “Yeah, spending time with the family is important.”
The kids had so much fun interviewing each other, and I had even more fun learning about them and what summer in a neighbourhood like Edinburgh looks like through the eyes of some of the most important residents, the kids! Chloe and Croy will continue to swim up a storm throughout the school year, participate in other activities like dance and soccer, and be the best sibling duo they can be! Thanks for following along on this Kid to Kid adventure!
