Sips, Sparkles, and Lots of Love
Room Redux hosts a December Christmas Market in Edinburgh
The very proud Room Redux Team.
Held at Bear's Best on December 2nd, the Room Redux Sip & Sparkle was an event like no other! The Holiday Market hosted around 200 guests and 45 amazing vendors. This event was a fundraising effort for Room Redux of Georgia, a non-profit that supports children who have been victims of abuse. Room Redux of Georgia, through the process of room transformation, offers unmatched support to these victims of abuse. The organization is founded and run by Lisa Lepkofker, a long-term Edinburgh resident, and her very best friend Stephanie Engelerdt.
These two women have worked so extremely hard for the last 6 years to make Room Redux into something that their entire community and more see and support. This market is a prime example of their strength and abilities.
This community showed up and showed out! A culmination of all things that show true human and holiday spirit. Laughter, Shopping, Connection, Compassion, and everything in between. It was so much more than just one night; it's a forever mission that came together beautifully.
Lisa and Stephanie shared their gratitude, " This night was so much more than a fundraiser. It was a demonstration of trust - in us, in our mission, and most importantly in the children we serve. It was a reminder that our community believes in creating healing spaces and brighter futures, and that belief fuels everything we do."
They go on to describe the fantastic vendors who supported this cause and shared their talents. The volunteer team of Room Redux, whom they describe as their quiet heroes, and how, without them, this night would not be possible. Thank you to Stroll and the Edinburgh community for helping make this dream a reality, and finally, to all of those in attendance at the event, whose support means more than anything.
In addition to this market, Room Redux's primary fundraiser is its Gala; this year, they will host their Second Annual Gala on February 21 at Bear's Best Clubhouse, right inside the neighborhood. Please make plans to join them as they continue to build their platform and advance their mission of safety and healing.
Lisa and Stephanie have one primary goal: to heal children across Georgia and beyond. But they cannot do it without a support system, which is where the importance of volunteer work and fundraising events becomes crucial. This market meant the absolute world to the Room Redux team, and it showcased their reason for doing it all. FOR THE LOVE OF CHILDREN!
