Dear Edinburgh Neighbors,
I have been a proud resident of Edinburgh for 23 years and have worked at Bear's Best for the entire time I have lived here. I am also excited to share that I will be hosting the 2nd Annual Veterans Golf Outing on Monday, November 10, 2025. I'm inviting you and your family to the opening program at 9:00 a.m. at Bear's Best Golf Course. Last year, we recognized and honored 100 veterans, and they played golf for free. This year, we will have 144 golfers, with 125 of them being Veterans.

The day's events will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. with the National Anthem and Taps, followed by the Army Parachute Team at 9:30 a.m. The Veterans will have Chick-fil-A and Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast, along with a Bloody Mary bar. During this time, Fox TV 5 and Radio will conduct interviews with the Veterans. Our golfers will tee off at 10:00 a.m. and enjoy a delicious Prime Rib Dinner and awards ceremony following the tournament.

Lastly, local business stores and restaurants have donated items for a Veterans Raffle. These items include barbecue grills, picnic coolers, golf
items, and restaurant gift cards. All donations are tax-deductible, and the funds raised will be distributed to the non-profit Georgia Purple Heart Association and the Georgia Veterans Day Association.

If you are a Veteran and would like to play golf, call me, and I will add you to our list of players. All Veterans play FREE!

If you would like to sponsor a Veteran for $100, please use the QR code to submit a payment online or visit Bear's Best and speak with Kenny Weis, Bear's Best General Manager. Checks should be made out to "Invited Foundation."

The funds raised from this event will go to benefit the Georgia Purple Heart Veterans Foundation and the Georgia Veterans Day Association.

Please join us on November 10th and help us thank our Veterans for their service.

Sincerely,

Vince Apruzzese
