Born in Rome, Georgia, and raised in Cedartown, Matt's journey into the construction industry began early in childhood. Matt spent his high school years in Tallahassee, Florida where under the guidance of his stepfather, a custom home builder, Matt discovered the profound impact of turning blueprints into beautiful abodes. However, it wasn't until he ventured out on his own that he truly understood the importance of putting homeowners first. In 2017, with unwavering support from his wife Lisa, Matt founded reVision Design & Renovation, LLC, with a mission to empower homeowners and restore the joy of the renovation process. Matt shares from his heart “My main goal in creating our company was to give the voice back to the homeowners.  We want our customers to put their hearts, thoughts, and feelings into every aspect of the renovation process.”

While being a full-time entrepreneur as well as a husband and father of three can be challenging, Matt embraces every opportunity to be present at each of his family events. Their 16-year-old son Brent and 8-year-old daughter Clara are actively involved in golfing with Brent holding a position on the Mill Creek Golf Team, and Clara working hard to follow in her big brother’s footsteps playing in a youth tournament league. Of course, little sister Aubrey (who will be 4 in May) is everyone’s favorite cheerleader and enjoys tagging along for a ride on the golf cart any chance she can (with her favorite snack in hand)! As much as Matt is committed to his family, his family is committed to supporting him as an entrepreneur. At times you may be lucky enough to find Brent helping haul materials for reVision, or Aubrey and Clara comically sharing their advice while Matt reviews plans and writes estimates, and Lisa lovingly holding them all together behind the scenes.

In addition to the financial support offered to our local schools, Matt also enjoys visiting local high schools to educate students about the world of entrepreneurship and what is internally and externally needed to create, build, and maintain a small business in the construction industry.
