Lexington Dental of Owasso

Dr. Jacob Cary and his wife, Lauren, both grew up in small farming towns in southwest Oklahoma. Lauren says, "We were high school sweethearts and both attended Oklahoma State University together. After graduating from OSU, we got married and started planning out our path to one day have our own dental practice. It's been a dream for the both of us since we were 18 years old."

Dental school took the Carys to NYU in New York City. They say, "We thoroughly loved our time there, but knew we wanted to be back in Oklahoma to raise a family." While Lauren didn't go to dental school, she did support Jake every step of the way! She is the Office Manager at the practice and still supports him on a daily basis.

Lexington Dental sees patients of all ages. Lauren says, "We love being a piece of your entire family's dental health. We strive to be the most comprehensive dental option for our community by offering a wide range of treatment options, including digital dentistry, same-day crowns, implants, Invisalign, sedation dentistry, and dentures."

The Carys celebrated 12 years of marriage this year. They have a three-year-old son named Calum, who keeps them on their toes! Outside of the office, Lauren says, "We love to be outdoors. You can find us on most pretty days playing golf as a family at The Patriot or enjoying the pool. We also love to go to the lake, help on our family farms back home, or go snow skiing in the mountains. We actually taught Calum to ski this year and he loved it!"

HOW LEXINGTON DENTAL GOT ITS NAME
In November 2019, Dr. Cary acquired Dr. Mark Argo’s practice when he retired. The Carys knew they would rename the practice. Since the couple had enjoyed their time spent in New York City and had many fond memories from that time in their lives, they wanted to incorporate a piece of New York. While attending dental school in Manhattan, their apartment was located at 85th Street and Lexington Avenue. This is where Lexington Dental originated, as well as the New York skyline in the logo.
