A Passion for Real Estate and Community: Meet Amy Whitmarsh

Amy Whitmarsh knows the Owasso area well, having moved there with her family at the age of five. She was part of the very first kindergarten class at Mills Elementary before moving to Tulsa in third grade, where she graduated high school. In 2008, she returned to Owasso with her family and has loved being part of the community ever since.
Amy and her husband, Carl, have two grown sons. Ian, 25, is married to AlLee, and they live in Collinsville with their Cavapoo, Chief. Their younger son, Preston, 18, is pursuing his passion for golf at a postgraduate academy in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. At home, their 12-year-old Lha-Cocker, Duchess, keeps them company. As a family, they enjoy traveling, golfing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with their dogs. They have also been members of Church on the Move since 1998.
Before her real estate career, Amy worked as a recreational therapist in rehabilitation hospitals for 15 years. In 2006, after the birth of her second son, she decided to shift gears and join her sister, Lori Oller, in growing a small, independent real estate company. Their vision was clear—to build a brokerage that prioritized agents and elevated the standards of real estate transactions. In 2011, they took that vision to the next level by joining RE/MAX Results. Today, they co-own four franchise locations in Owasso, Tulsa, Skiatook, and Bartlesville.
Aligning with RE/MAX was a natural fit. “We wanted to partner with a brand that had international recognition, strong systems, and support that we could never create on our own,” Amy explains. “It matched our business goals and provided a model we could expand with.”
