Whether she is casting a fishing line, riding her bike, or spending time with family on the water, 5-year-old Marena Douglas makes the most of every adventure.

At just 5 years old, Marena Douglas is already discovering that some of life's best moments happen outside. A kindergarten student at LCC, she loves staying active and trying new things.

Marena enjoys dance, flag football, tennis, and swimming, but one of her favorite pastimes is fishing off her family's dock. She also loves riding her bike, making crafts, and spending time outdoors whenever she can. Family boat rides are another favorite, and one of her most memorable vacations was a trip to Costa Rica.

One of Marena's biggest accomplishments came when she taught herself to ride her bike without training wheels. Her determination paid off, and it is an achievement her family is especially proud of.

When it is time to relax, Marena enjoys watching Bluey and Doc McStuffins. She also has a surprisingly grown-up favorite meal. Chicken marsala tops her list, especially when it comes from Pia's in Gulfport.

Those who know Marena describe her as kind, sweet, and always excited to learn something new. Whether she is exploring outside, cheering on family adventures, or discovering a new hobby, she brings curiosity and joy wherever she goes.
