Meet My Friend Mariah Jensen

Hello, hello — this is Hana, and today,
we are learning about my friend Mariah,
and we all shout hurray!
Hi! Today I am interviewing my friend Mariah. I have known Mariah since the beginning of the school year. We are both starting fourth grade at Copper Ridge. Our teacher for third grade was Ms. Vogel. So, here we go:
Hi, Mariah. Tell me a little bit about yourself: I am 8 years old, and I am in the third grade at Copper Ridge. I have three older brothers: Marcus (30), Jahir (13), and Jirah (12).
What do you like to do? I take contemporary dance and just started acting classes. I also play piano and want to learn violin. And I really like to draw and paint.
What is unique about you? I can speak Spanish. When my mom was little, they spoke Spanish at home, and my grandma still does.
What do you want to do when you grow up? I would like to be a singer.
Do you have any pets? We have a dog. Her name is Nobu. She is a 3-year-old Huskita.

- Vacation spot: California beaches and visiting my dad in Oakland while he is working there in the summer. I also enjoy seeing my cousins and grandmother there.
Is there anything else you would like the readers to know?
I love to swim. In my free time, I like to play with my friends on my iPad. Sometimes I enjoy cooking with my mom. And always enjoy my play date with you!
