Meet Hank Anderson

A Young Athlete Inspired by His Dad

Hi Neighbors! As we head into summer and celebrate the close of a great school year, it’s the perfect time to highlight a young athlete who has made an impact this past season. One standout is Hank Anderson, a 4th grader at Copper Ridge School, who has had an impressive year in both football and basketball.

Hank’s love for sports started early—he was inspired by his dad, a former NFL player, to pursue football, while a basketball hoop at home sparked his interest in the game. Despite juggling two sports and four practices a week, Hank still makes time for friends and family, showing a balance well beyond his years. He enjoys the competitive side of both sports, from scrimmaging with teammates on the basketball court to one-on-one drills on the football field.

This year, Hank’s hard work paid off in a big way, earning championship wins in both football and basketball. Along the way, he learned the importance of teamwork, communication, and perseverance. Whether it’s perfecting his pre-game basketball routine or running drills to stay sharp for football, Hank is always focused on improving.

More importantly, Hank understands that sports are about more than winning—they’re about sportsmanship, teamwork, and growing alongside friends. Inspired by greats like Kobe Bryant and Josh Allen, Hank is driven to keep getting better each week while enjoying every moment of the game.
