I was born and raised in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico – a small city about six hours from Phoenix, Arizona. I moved to Arizona when I was 18, and it was here that I met my husband, Lepolve, who is originally from Liberia. He moved to the States two years before I did, and we met in college. He’s still my college sweetheart, and the rest, as they say, is history.

We’ve been calling Queen Creek our home for the past 12 years, and it’s where our family has truly blossomed. We’re proud parents to three amazing kids: 15-year-old Sophia, who’s our smart and fashionable teen; 11-year-old Mila, our little creative genius who loves to help Mom with ideas; and our not-so-baby-anymore 9-year-old Liam, who’s as sharp as a tack and is a heart with legs.

Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without our furry family members – Leche, our husky (yes, Milk in Spanish), and Jugo, our maltipoo (and yes, Juice). We could not have been more creative with their names. Ha! And last but not least, we have our guinea pigs, Conchita and Lila, who are the newest additions to our busy household.

There’s always something brewing at home – constant movement is the norm, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s chaos, it’s love, and it’s everything I could ask for. And somehow, it all adds to the creativity and energy that fuels my work and passion every day.

After graduating from high school in Mexico, I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to come to the USA and pursue my passion for Interior Design.

Creativity has always been one of my biggest strengths, and I was always drawn to space planning and creating things from scratch. It just felt natural. I went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University, and that's when I started focusing on kitchen, bath, and millwork. Growing up, both of my grandparents were carpenters, so I was always surrounded by the scent of sawdust and the hum of saw tables. I guess you could say it was in my blood, even before I fully realized it.

After gaining hands-on experience at a millwork shop and helping set up a kitchen and bath construction company for my previous employer over the span of 11 years, I decided it was time to take the leap. I returned to "home" school, got my ROC license, and became a General Contractor. I’m proud to say I passed with flying colors and earned two licenses – one for Residential and another for Commercial projects.

In 2021, I made my long-time dream of becoming an entrepreneur a reality. Being a woman in the construction industry is no easy feat, and it’s definitely not for the faint of heart, but I am so proud of how far we've come. Our company is constantly growing, and we improve our services every single day. It’s been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us next.

One piece of advice I always share with homeowners is this: Do your homework. When I walk into an initial meeting and hear that I’m the third contractor they’ve interviewed, I don’t take offense – I see it as a chance to guide them on what they truly want and don’t want in their project, and that’s exciting for me!

It’s so important to talk to at least three different professionals. You should really enjoy spending time with your General Contractor (GC) and feel like you can have honest conversations with them. Think of it like this: they’ll be spending a couple of months in your home, so you want to work with someone who feels like a long-time friend that is visiting you.

If you follow this approach, you’ll feel much more comfortable with the person who will be in your home every day. And when it’s all said and done, you’ll be thrilled with both the process and the outcome.

Remember, it’s not just about the lowest bid; it’s about who you trust, who you feel a connection with, and who can deliver a product that meets all building standards, quality, and craftsmanship. That’s what truly matters in the end.
