Dr. Tim Clark of Clark Chiropractic

Dr. Tim Clark’s journey to becoming a chiropractor didn’t begin in a clinic but on the rugby field.
“I started my career in accounting and finance back in Iowa,” he says. “But I was playing competitive rugby for Palmer College of Chiropractic, and after five years of watching my teammates graduate and open their own clinics, I knew I had to make a change.”
He made that change decisively, leaving the world of spreadsheets behind to pursue chiropractic care full time. “I haven’t looked back,” Dr. Clark says. “I absolutely love what I do now.”
After graduating from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa—known as the Fountainhead of Chiropractic—Dr. Clark moved to North Carolina. He eventually settled in Greensboro, where he took over an established practice and made it his own.
A Focus on Comprehensive Care
At Clark Chiropractic, Dr. Clark provides a full spectrum of services, with a strong commitment to thorough evaluation.
“We x-ray everyone,” he explains. “To x-ray is to see, and to see is to know. Not to see is to guess, and I refuse to guess about your health.” This careful approach sets the tone for each patient’s experience.
In addition to spinal adjustments, the clinic offers extremity adjustments, spinal traction tables, and electric muscle stimulation.
“I also provide physical therapy stretches and exercises you can do at home,” he says. “These help improve your function and the outcome of your care.” Dr. Clark is experienced in various adjusting methods, including Gonstead, Diversified, Websters, and Thompson techniques.
His background in athletics shapes much of his practice. “Playing Division 1 rugby for almost 20 years taught me a lot about injuries,” he says. “I know how important it is to listen to patients and understand what’s really going on.”
Whether treating an athlete or someone dealing with everyday discomfort, Dr. Clark emphasizes that each person is unique. “You’re not just a number in my office. I promise to do everything I can to help you get relief so you can do the things you love.”
Personal Attention and Honest Communication
Dr. Clark believes that strong relationships and trust are at the heart of his success.
“We have an excellent success rate, and you’ll know you’re in the right place as soon as you walk through our door,” he says. His office manager, Amber, plays a big part in that. “Amber is so knowledgeable about insurance and coverage. Plus, we have the prettiest office in Greensboro,” he adds with a smile.
Patients often express their appreciation for the personalized care they receive. Monica B., a longtime patient, shared, “His expertise and professionalism are exemplary. After alleviating my initial sciatica issues, my regular maintenance visits have kept me healthy and pain-free.”
Dr. Clark’s mission is straightforward: to offer the best care possible while being transparent and honest. “You owe it to yourself to give chiropractic a try before you try something you can’t undo. If I can’t fix you, I will get you in front of the person who can.”
Life Beyond the Clinic
When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Clark stays active by working out daily and playing golf. Family life also keeps him “on the go.”
“Soon after I moved here, I met my wife, and now we have two wonderful kids and a dog,” he says. We love spending time together and taking trips whenever we get the chance. The beach is our happy place.”
He finds ways to give back locally, supporting charitable organizations and churches.
Looking ahead, Dr. Clark hopes to expand his practice’s services. “I want to offer additional therapies in the office,” he shared. “My goal is to keep improving patient care and create long-lasting relationships in the community.”
Dr. Clark welcomes anyone who is curious about chiropractic care to reach out. “I am an open book,” he said. “If you have questions, feel free to ask.”
He summed up his philosophy simply: “I want to be your chiropractor for the rest of your life.”
