Becky McNeer, REALTOR®
Guidance You Can Count On, Right Next Door
If you’ve spent any time in Richmond, Midlothian, or Chesterfield, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Becky McNeer—or at least with someone she’s helped move into their next chapter.
Becky runs what she describes as a “relationship-driven real estate business” rooted in local expertise and thoughtful, modern marketing. “Clients work with me for guidance, strong negotiation, and a smooth, detail-managed experience,” she says. “Whether they’re buying, selling, or relocating, I want them to feel supported from start to finish.”
A Richmond native and daughter of a home builder, Becky attended The Collegiate School and earned her B.A. from Randolph-Macon College before diving straight into real estate. Over the years, she’s built her career step-by-step—first with Austin-Davidson, then Napier ERA® REALTORS, and now with Shaheen, Ruth, Martin & Fonville. Along the way, she’s earned recognitions including Circle of Excellence (2018–2025), Richmond Association of REALTORS® Outstanding Associate of the Year (2024), and Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year (2023). She’s currently ranked 106th out of more than 7,000 agents in CVRMLS.
But accolades aren’t what neighbors mention first.
One local client shared, “Becky helped us navigate a challenging purchase and made it a simple process. We got a house we love at a price we're more than happy with! And beyond that, she ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED our sale process. We listed on a Friday and had more showings and visits at our open house than we would have ever imagined.”
Another neighbor, who hadn’t moved in more than 20 years, said, “We were intimidated by moving. She guided us by informing us exactly what we needed to do to effectively and quickly sell our home and purchase a new home. She is a true professional!”
For Becky, that steady guidance is the heart of her business. “I’m known for clear communication, thoughtful strategy, and handling all the moving pieces,” she says. From pricing and staging to coordinating contractors and launching professional marketing, her full-service listing approach is designed to “get the right eyes on your home fast.” On the buyer side, she focuses on education and advocacy—especially for first-time buyers, move-up families, and downsizers who want someone truly in their corner.
Community is also central to her “why.” Becky credits her mom for instilling a love of volunteering. “She taught me early on that showing up for others matters,” Becky says. “That’s something I’ve carried into my business and everyday life.” As a literal neighbor herself, she’s proud to offer not just real estate expertise but also a trusted network of local referrals to make the process smoother.
Her advice to residents? “Treat your home like both a place to live and one of your largest financial decisions,” she says. Stay on top of maintenance—roof, HVAC, plumbing, crawlspace, gutters—and keep records of upgrades. “If you’re thinking about moving in the next year, start the conversation early so you can plan and avoid stress.”
She also notes that many homeowners—especially those with septic systems—don’t realize what they don’t know until there’s a problem. “It’s truly ‘out of sight, out of mind,’” Becky says. “I can help homeowners get ahead of it so there are fewer surprises and smoother negotiations when it’s time to sell.”
At the end of the day, Becky’s ideal client is simple: “Someone who values clear communication, smart strategy, and trust.” Around here, that sounds a lot like a good neighbor.
