PUBLISHER'S NOTE
Leah Anderson, Publisher
Dear Salisbury & Rosemont Neighbors,
June has a way of drawing us back to what matters most—longer days, shared meals, and time spent with the people who make this community feel like home. This month’s issue reflects that spirit through stories that highlight connection, growth, and the everyday moments that bring us together.
You’ll meet the Newlin family, whose story is rooted in years of shared history and now centered around the everyday joys of raising their son, Everett. Their story is a reminder that the most meaningful traditions are often found in the ordinary moments we share. From evening walks down Radstock Road to spontaneous gatherings with neighbors and family dinners that bring everyone together, their life here is a reminder that the most meaningful traditions are often the simplest ones.
We’re also proud to feature Amazing Athlete Grace Grilliot, whose journey in track is defined not only by dedication, but by her perspective—grounded in joy, teamwork, and a genuine love for the sport. She represents the kind of determination and character that inspires well beyond the track.
This issue also highlights the impact of local businesses like Smile Garden Pediatric Dentistry, whose Community Care Day provided essential care to children in our area, reflecting a commitment to serving beyond their doors. And as summer begins, we’re reminded that learning continues in meaningful ways through play, exploration, and connection.
We also had the opportunity to gather at Tarrant’s West, where great food and conversation made for a memorable evening—another example of how this community comes together.
Each of these stories points to what makes Salisbury & Rosemont so special: the people, the connections, and the moments we share.
Thank you for being part of this community and for allowing me to help tell its stories.
With gratitude,
Leah Anderson
