I had to share this book with the community! It is very loosely based on Sailfish Point. The local author, Leah Orr, is typically in Downtown Jensen on Thursday nights and is happy to sign a personal copy. I met her there and picked up her best selling book, The She Shed. It was a great short beach read with a local flair. Like Stroll Sailfish Point I liked that the content was relatable with many Jensen Beach references.

I went back the following week for The Fruitcake. I am not much of a Desperate Housewives kind of gal but I enjoyed The She Shed so much I was open to reading Leah’s next book. I had a good laugh when the location and general description mimicked Sailfish. It is an intriguing short read that I hope you enjoy.
