A Family Day at Axe Republic

On March 12, Axe Republic in Williamsburg hosted our neighborhood for an afternoon of family fun! Running Man residents and partners ages 10+ were invited to learn axe throwing, practice their skills, and hang out with friends (both old and new!)
We had our own separate section just for us, and kids and adults alike had a great time - after our safety briefing we were free to throw, and some of our attendees nailed it with their very impressive axe skills - others of us will need to go back and practice some more (it's a great excuse to go back) - it's harder than it looks!
It was fun to see the family and friends bonding during the experience and was a wonderful chance to hang out with neighbors and friends. Axe Republic is a great alternative to traditional family outings or date nights, and definitely worth a try! They are big on safety and each axe-throwing session includes education and training from an AXEPERT so everyone stays safe and has fun.

Just a short drive to Williamsburg, Axe Republic opened its doors in 2019 and is an entertainment hotspot, jumping on the newest craze in the entertainment (and fitness!) industry. They have 12 lanes for play, delicious food and drink for purchase, and are a great opportunity to try something different. They even have leagues to join! They can host events, big or small, and are open Wed-Sun to the public.
Owners Lydia Hertzler (a Williamsburg native) and fiancee Matthew Murnion welcomed us with open arms, made sure our neighborhood enjoyed a wonderful afternoon there, and took great care of us. Thank you both for hosting us!
