On Saturday, May 13, 2023, representatives from the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation and Go Pink Challenge Chair, Nicole Flier, hosted a very special Mother’s Day floral workshop. About 40 women were in attendance to learn how to put together stunning flower arrangements for the special “mom” in their life. Lite brunch and bubbles were served from The Broken Dish and Hello Gorgeous.

 

Ashley Catronio, from the Rooted Gem, graciously supplied her time and talent to run the workshop. Various blooms of many shapes and sizes were available to create stunning unique bouquets. When participants needed a creative break, they could shop the vendors in attendance - B. Dazzled and Delicate Link. Also available for purchase were raffle tickets for a few extra special prizes.

 

Almost $7,000 was raised for the Go Pink Challenge which benefits breast cancer programs and service at the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health and Wellness Institute and the Schmidt Family Center for Breast Care.

 

Boca Regional has been very fortunate to have incredible community support for the Go Pink Challenge with many local businesses holding events throughout the year. This has allowed the Foundation to donate an incredible $140,000 to this fund for this year alone!
