BAILEY

Bailey was a resident at BARC (i.e., the Houston "dog pound") when I went by one cold afternoon in February 2018. I saw him in his cage and although he was very shy, he came to me, licked my hand and wouldn't leave my side so I figured he was the one!  I adopted him on Valentine's Day 2018 and he's been with me ever since.

His favorite thing hands down is traveling in the car.  In fact, if I leave a car door open when he's around, he will get in and refuse to leave until he's been taken for a ride.  Yes, we have driven down the block of Chartreuse Way and back just to get him to get out of the car!

Other than that, Bailey is a very easy going dog. He loves his morning walking route along Gallant Ridge and a bite of fried egg courtesy of his dad, Doug.  He enjoys seeing canine friends such as Sterling, Monty and Patton and gets excited at the prospect of chasing squirrels and the occasional cat.   Please say hello next time you see us!
