Smiles All Around: Meet the Webbs

For Beth and Brian Webb, Riverview isn’t just a neighborhood - it’s home, filled with family, friends, and memories in the making.

When it comes to embracing the Riverview lifestyle, the Webb family does it with energy, warmth, and plenty of laughter. Beth and Brian Webb, along with their children Cooper (13), Caroline (12), and Lucy (10), have called Minnekahda Trail home for the past five years, though their roots in Chattanooga run much deeper.
Beth grew up here in Riverview and always knew she wanted to raise her family in this vibrant, tight-knit neighborhood. After spending time away for school and training, the couple returned to Chattanooga 12 years ago, moving from their first Riverview home across the street to their current one in 2020. They love the convenience of being close to downtown, great restaurants, and schools. They especially treasure having Beth’s parents, sisters, and all the cousins just a mile away, perfect for family dinners and spontaneous gatherings.
Creating Smiles and Memories
Both Brian and Beth have built careers around creating smiles—literally. Brian, originally from Clarksville, is an orthodontist with Webb Family Orthodontics, which has locations in North Chattanooga, Hixson, Soddy Daisy, and Dayton. Beth is a pediatric dentist and co-founder of Splash Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, which she started with her sister, Jennifer Cole, who also lives in Riverview. Together, they care for little patients at their offices in North Chattanooga and Hixson.
The couple met during dental school at UTHSC in Memphis, where they were in the same class. After completing their residencies and welcoming baby Cooper in Memphis, they finally moved back home to Chattanooga in 2012.
Active and Adventurous
The Webb kids keep things lively. Cooper, a rising eighth grader at Baylor, plays baseball, wrestles, swims for the country club swim team, and has recently taken up golf and pickleball. Caroline, heading into seventh grade at Baylor, is creative and artistic, with a love for lacrosse, cheer, theater, photography, and crafting. Lucy, a rising fifth grader at Bright, enjoys track, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, cheer, and working on arts and crafts projects with her sister.
The family also has three dogs—Banks, Ruthie, and Roman—all adopted through Trooper’s Treasures. These lab mixes are sweet, mischievous, and always keep things interesting.
Family Traditions and Travels
When they are not busy with school and sports, the Webbs love to travel. From beaches and ski slopes to scuba diving and hiking, they are always up for an adventure. Recently, they all became scuba certified and plan to put that to good use on family trips. Closer to home, they enjoy water skiing and lake days, taking advantage of Chattanooga’s rivers, lakes, and mountains.
Holidays are special for the Webbs, with Christmas decorating and traditions taking center stage. They also return to New Orleans every year for Mardi Gras, where Beth and her mother ride in the Iris parade. And of course, monthly, and sometimes weekly, family dinners at Beth’s parents’ house keep everyone connected.
Loving Local Life
Some of the Webbs’ favorite spots in Riverview include summer days at the country club pool, pickleball courts, and golf course. They frequent local shops such as Alice Blue, Hart & Hive, Danshire Market, and Charlotte’s Web, and they enjoy lunches at River Street Deli or Vine Street Deli. The girls even model for Shore Next Door and have fun picking out outfits there.
Beth has also contributed to the community through committees for Amuseum and the Bunny Hop, helped sponsor the Riverview Park renovations, and supports many local events and fundraisers.
For the Webbs, Riverview is more than just a place to live. It is home. “We’re so thankful for this strong sense of community,” Beth says. “Seeing the kids grow from playing on the swings at Riverview Park to riding bikes and exploring with their friends has flown by. I’m grateful my kids get to grow up in a neighborhood that feels safe and familiar.”
It is clear that the Webbs have found their happy place here in Riverview, and they are making the most of every moment.
