A Legacy of Hope
For more than 75 years, Siskin Children’s Institute has helped children reach their potential while supporting the families who walk alongside them.
For generations of Chattanooga families, Siskin Children’s Institute has been a source of care, support, and hope.
Founded in Chattanooga in 1950, Siskin has grown from a local vision into an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with special needs and their families. Today, that mission comes to life through developmental pediatrics, therapy services, early intervention, family support, and other resources designed to meet children and families where they are.
What makes that work especially meaningful is the understanding that every child’s journey looks different. Through individualized, family centered care, Siskin works alongside parents and caregivers to recognize each child’s strengths, address their needs, and help create opportunities for them to thrive.
More than seven decades after its founding, Siskin remains deeply rooted in the community where its story began. Its impact can be found in the children reaching new milestones, the families finding answers and encouragement, and the generations of people who have been touched by its mission.
We are proud to recognize Siskin Children’s Institute and the meaningful work it continues to do for children and families throughout our community.
