Willow Green Acres

Garden, Landscape, and Antique Mall

I love treasure hunting!

My name is Kevin Chapman and my favorite thing to do is treasure hunt. I would love to be Indiana Jones hunting archaeological treasures. If I was born 150 years ago, I'm sure I would have been a part of the Gold Rush. I just love the hunt! About 35 years ago my wife  Karen and I went to a garage sale and found a beautiful 50's chrome and Formica dinette set. Didn't need it, but had to have it, and so the treasure hunt for unique vintage home furniture and decor was born. Now our “day off” typically means getting up at 3 or 4 am, traveling to some distant city, waiting in line for hours at the door of an estate sale, feeling the butterflies as the time approaches for the door to open, and then running in to see what item we can find that we haven't ever seen before. We love the hunt!

Another thing we treasure is managing creative projects. I guess I come by that naturally. My father started three tree nurseries in his lifetime, the last of which was Willow Green Gardens in 2000. I came to help him in 2005 and after his passing in 2017, I made the big decision in 2019 to restart that nursery at a new location near the 60 and 125 interchange in Rogersville. Introducing our biggest project to date - Willow Green Acres.

The property initially consisted of a 25-year-old Antique Mall, a home, and one outbuilding. Now, Willow Green Acres consists of a 7500 sq ft Antique Mall, a Garden Shop, several greenhouses, and a three-story home that is frequently opened for you to shop curated vintage finds. We have lots of paved parking, pop-up markets, and fun experiences waiting for everyone! I oversee the nursery and landscaping arms of the business. My wife Karen uses her many years of visual merchandising to oversee the Antique Mall and keep the entire property looking great. We are so excited about this project and hope you’ll have the opportunity to come and experience it someday soon!

All of us are really born treasure hunters. One treasure you have found is your home. We love Rivercut! Every property is a unique build. Jesus tells the parable of a man finding a treasure in a field, and in his joy selling all he has to buy that field. That must be what it was like when you found your home. Every home in Rivercut is like a one-of-a-kind diamond.

Yet even the most beautiful diamond needs the proper setting to make it really sparkle. That’s one other creative challenge that we love. We can help with the inside of your home, especially if you want some vintage flair, but we specialize in creating the perfect setting to place your diamond in your yard. Need some trees to provide shade or screening? We can help! Want to add some curb appeal? We got you! Want to create a backyard oasis that's the envy of the neighborhood? That’s our specialty! We have a design team and professional installers with over 120 years of combined experience that we would love to put to work for you.

We are excited to be a sponsor of Stroll Rivercut and to introduce you to our treasures. We would love the opportunity to help you with yours! Want to connect with us? Check us out at  www.willowgreenacres.com, give us a call, or send us a text. My direct cell number is 417-838-7676.

Treasure Hunters, unite!!

"We recently built an addition to our home at 3309 West Rivulet Pass. It required extensive landscaping including rebuilding a stacked stone retaining wall, rebuilding and adding to the sprinkler system,  creating planting beds, and laying sod. Willow Green Acres did an excellent job. They were easy to work with and completed the job on time and on budget."
