The Women Shaping Shepherd Lake Oconee Chapter was launched in March 2022. Women Shaping Shepherd is a group of women who donate funds annually and collectively vote on patient programs to support patients and families at Shepherd Center.  Shepherd Center, located in Atlanta, is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research, and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions.  Ladies from the Lake Oconee chapter recently attended a luncheon and tour of the facility.  The three programs were presented, and members will vote on which program will receive the funding.
