We got married 2 years later and just celebrated 33 years of marriage!"

Relationship Advice:
"Keep your relationship with God and each other as priority. The closer you get to God, the closer you get to each other. Marry your best friend and you will have a real BFF."

Heather and Arthur Wood:

How They Met:
"In 2007, we first crossed paths at an event in Vicksburg. While chatting with Arthur's sister, he noticed us and came over to introduce himself. Discovering mutual friends, we later reunited for a memorable night on the reservoir with shared laughter, late-night talks, swimming, and boat rides. After exchanging numbers, he called to ensure my safe return to campus, leading to our first official dinner date that weekend. Despite the distance, we committed to weekend drives, and by 2008, we were engaged. I transferred schools to be closer during his final year of medical school, and in 2009, the week before his graduation, we celebrated our marriage. We will observe 15 years married this May."

Relationship Advice:
"Practice active listening to understand each other, acknowledging imperfections with compassion. Embrace adventure through spontaneous outings, injecting excitement into your relationship. When faced with challenges, lean on each other for strength – it's in these moments that your bond grows stronger, paving the way for a resilient marriage."
