Nestled in Grayton Beach, FL's Art District, Roux 30a is a hidden gem. Though discreet from the outside, this charming location boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen and presents a six-course tasting menu for an unforgettable culinary journey. With family style tables and an open kitchen design, guests are encouraged to relax and witness the transformation of food into art while forming connections with strangers turned friends. Using locally sourced ingredients, they craft elegantly curated meals with a contemporary flair, elevating the dining experience to new heights. This distinctive venue also serves as an ideal backdrop for private events.

Well, the restaurant's name was sort of a fun mashup of things. We played around with the French word 'rue,' meaning street, and the local identity of '30A,' which is a big deal around here. So, we ended up with 'Roux,' throwing in a little foodie twist since it's a staple in so many classic sauces. It's funny, though, because being so close to New Orleans, some folks think we're a Cajun joint just from hearing the name!

One thing that's really caught on with our guests is our 'Around the World' dinner series. It's been a pet project of ours for years, where we put together a 5-course tasting menu featuring dishes from different countries. We've done over 80 of these dinners, highlighting flavors from 38 countries in total. It's been a hit with our customers and has become one of our go-to offerings.

While our mainstay remains our indulgent 6-course tasting menus, we're currently considering adding an à la carte option on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Keep an eye out for updates as we explore this possibility, aiming for a potential launch this summer. The menu will feature a rotating seasonal selection, highlighting the freshest produce sourced from our farm partners.
