Stephanie Wedel and her team at Freedom Life Compass believe change is possible. With the right resources, anyone struggling has the ability to improve their situation. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, the organization aims to change lives and positively impact families.

 

“We work within our community to help individuals find and take their next right step,” Stephanie explained. By bridging the gaps that exist, Freedom Life helps men and women break the cycles of dysfunctions in their lives. Whether it be homelessness, addiction, recovery, or returning to life after incarceration, Freedom Life finds housing, provides transportation, and advocates within the court system. “We bridge gaps between the individual with the need and the available resources,” Stephanie stated.

 

Providing stability is an important part of Freedom Life. They operate two halfway houses for single women and work to help them find their passion and turn it into their purpose, possibly “changing their futures forever!” They use a holistic approach to recovery that addresses the root causes of substance use disorder, providing individuals with the tools they need to rebuild their lives. Freedom Life also works with law enforcement and other non-profits to break the barriers that exist for people trying to find their way.
