Ty Daugherty
Ty Daugherty, son of Steven and Angela Daugherty, graduated from John Carroll University on May 17 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Ty chose Exercise Science because of his passion for becoming a physical therapist and his belief that rehabilitation plays an important role in every aspect of life. During his time at John Carroll, he gained valuable hands-on experience through an internship at T3 Performance in Avon, where he further developed his knowledge and skills in health, fitness, and rehabilitation.

In addition to his academic achievements, Ty was a captain of the John Carroll wrestling team, demonstrating strong leadership both on and off the mat. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and earn his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification as he works toward a career in physical therapy. Ty and his family have called Red Tail home for the past six years, and the community is proud to celebrate his accomplishments and wish him continued success in the future.

Kayla Dykin
Kayla Dykin, daughter of Mary and Jerry Dykin, graduated from the University of Findlay in 2026, earning both a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis. Driven by a longstanding interest in law and a desire to pursue a career in corporate law, Kayla chose to complement her pre-law studies with a strong foundation in finance, providing valuable business knowledge for her future legal career.

During her time at the University of Findlay, Kayla gained practical experience through internships with Kelley & Ferraro as a legal intern and Union Home Mortgage as a compliance intern. She was also highly involved on campus as a member of the softball team, Law Society, Student Athletic Advisory Committee, Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, and Dana Scholars program. This fall, Kayla will continue her education at Capital University Law School as she works toward her goal of becoming an attorney. A Red Tail resident for the past 20 years, Kayla has been an active member of the community, and we congratulate her on her accomplishments and wish her great success in law school and beyond.
