Frank, a 10-year-old Golden Doodle, has been a beloved member of the Beeler family since he joined them nearly a decade ago. His birthday is on March 29th, and marks 10 years of companionship as Frank continues to be a source of joy and entertainment for his family—Matthew, James, Luke, and Michelle.

When it came time to choose a name for their new dog, Michelle and her family wanted something strong and fitting for their big guy. “We wanted a manly name for a big guy,” says Michelle. After their previous dog, George, they decided “Frank” would be perfect. It’s a name that suits a dog with a personality as big as his heart.

Frank’s quirks are what make him so endearing. His favorite pastimes include barking at school buses, delivery trucks, other dogs, and kids on bikes. When he’s not barking, he’s chewing on his favorite items, such as kids’ toys, tissues, anything plastic, and even housekeepers' shoes. Despite his mischievous side, Frank’s gentle nature stands out, especially with children. He has always been a loving companion and cuddle buddy for James and Matthew, who adore him.

Frank enjoys plenty of downtime, sleeping around 10 hours a day—about 8 hours at night and a few during the day while the family is away. As for spoiling Frank, he’s the king of treats and often gets extra cookies from his dad, who’s been trained to give them up thanks to Frank’s impeccable begging.

Frank was a birthday gift for James and Matthew on their 5th birthday, a memory captured on video. Though Matthew’s first response was “Where’s my real birthday gift?” (haha!) Frank quickly became a cherished part of their lives, bringing love and laughter to their home.
