Phil and Jayne Brzozowski knew exactly what they wanted in their next chapter—a place close to family, with room to relax, entertain, and enjoy the activities they love most. In 2019, they brought that vision to life by designing their dream home in Red Tail. Just a few months later, on March 5, 2020, they made the move from Highland Heights to Avon, stepping into a new home and a welcoming new community.

With two daughters and grandchildren living nearby in Avon Lake, the decision to relocate was an easy one. Their custom-designed home features an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen and family room, perfect for lively family gatherings. One of Jayne’s favorite spots is the screened porch, which offers a front-row seat to the golf course and plenty of impromptu chats with passing players.

The couple has continued to make their home their own. One of the latest upgrades is in the basement, now featuring a cozy fireplace and curated shelving to display Phil’s growing collection of golf-themed artwork and memorabilia—a nod to one of their favorite pastimes.

Originally from Erie, PA (Phil) and New Jersey (Jayne), the Brzozowskis settled in Northeast Ohio in 1986, when Phil took a position with the Euclid Clinic after serving in the Army and completing time at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Though leaving friends and familiarity behind on the east side was bittersweet, they’ve found a warm welcome in Red Tail. Whether it’s a round of golf or a spirited game of pickleball, Phil and Jayne have embraced the vibrant social scene and built lasting friendships.

From the thoughtful design of their home to their enthusiasm for the Red Tail lifestyle, it’s clear that the Brzozowskis are right where they belong.
