In Red Tail, family ties run deep — and sometimes in twos and threes! Meet the amazing sets of twins and triplets who add double (and triple) the spirit, energy, and heart to our community, from lively six-year-olds to thriving young adults.

Petrus twin- babies

Fifty-one years ago, the day after my 8th birthday in June, I  was gifted twin sisters, Anne & Judy.  My parents had no idea until the second one was delivered. Our family changed immediately:
From swivel leather dining room chairs to benches.
From hot rods to a station wagon.
From having our own bedrooms to sharing.
From having my own birthday celebration to celebrating it with my twin sisters.
From being the youngest for 8 years, to being a middle child!

And, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

What a blessing my twin sisters were to my family. I am sure all of the twins and triplets in this neighborhood were also a blessing. And….I’m guessing these Red Tail parents knew they were having multiples before delivering, thanks to modern technology!
