The Holiday Party at Red Tail was held on December 6th. The clubhouse was decked out with

holiday decorations of flowers, trees and lights to bring cheer to the gathering. Members

assembled to a champagne toast of another great year at Red Tail and the end to 2024.

Hearty appetizers were provided by an attentive staff. The food was outstanding, and the staff

helped to restock and clean up throughout the evening. They did a great job meeting attendees’

needs so that holiday cheer was the only concern.

There were some real highlights to the evening. A mac ‘n cheese bar was offered, and each

member could make a creation (with the help of the chef) to suit their personal taste. This was

a popular stop on the buffet. Many substantial food items like pizza and sandwiches were

available, as well as lighter fare and smaller bites that guests could eat on the go. There was

even an impromptu birthday celebration with cake and candles (even singing). So much

fellowship within the group. It was great to catch up with neighbors and friends who hadn’t been

seen once the weather turned cold.

Music was also a highlight. There was background music of holiday carols to frame the

conversations at the start of the evening. The music quickly picked up to a dance beat once the

food was cleared and the dance floor had some takers with members showing their individual

‘moves’. Still later, a disco part erupted with some classic tunes and dance steps. This was a

great gathering and a fun party. Events at Red Tail are winding down as the calendar moves
