Celebrating 60 Years of Care at Home: OCHCH Marks a Milestone in Advocacy and Support
Join the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice on July 28 for a day of golf and giving, supporting the policies that help Ohioans receive care where it matters most: at home.
This year, the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice (OCHCH) marks 60 years of supporting the people and agencies that make home-based care possible for Ohio’s most vulnerable residents. If you’ve had a loved one receive care at home, chances are OCHCH has been part of that support system.
Many don’t think about home care or hospice until they need it. That’s where OCHCH steps in — providing advocacy, education, and leadership to help caregivers deliver quality care in the comfort and dignity of home.
Our mission is to promote and advance home and community-based care across Ohio, ensuring every Ohioan who needs it has access. Home care keeps people out of hospitals and close to what matters most — family, comfort, and home.
On Monday, July 28, OCHCH invites the community to join the PAC Golf Outing — a day of fun with a purpose. The event supports our Political Action Committee, which advocates for smart policies that protect and enhance home care services in Ohio. Because when laws change, care changes — and we’re here to make sure it changes for the better.
