Connor Mikes Learns Life Lessons While Living His Best Life!

Avon High School student Connor Mikes, 16, has lived in the community his entire life and is making his mark as a standout gymnast. Inspired by watching the Olympics as a child, Connor started gymnastics at a young age, driven by the desire to follow his passion. Over the years, he has embraced the challenges of the sport, finding great satisfaction in overcoming obstacles and working with his teammates.

 Aside from his athletic accomplishments, Connor remains dedicated to his education. Although he is still undecided about what field to pursue, he plans to attend college after graduation. Balancing school and gymnastics has taught him valuable life skills, such as time management and perseverance. "I have to take advantage of any time I have to get work done," Connor explains, noting that prioritizing tasks is key to keeping up with his busy schedule.

He credits his parents, Amy and Al, for their unwavering support. They have been there throughout his gymnastics journey, teaching him important lessons that he will carry with him for the rest of his life.With his dedication, strong family support, and focus on his goals, Connor Mikes is poised for success both in gymnastics and whatever path he chooses for his future.
