Best Believe She’s Still Bejeweled

Hillary Hargett, Red Tail resident since November 2007, has taken an upscale approach to bracelet making. Even though her favorite part of living in the neighborhood is pool days in the summer, her inspiration for her special hobby began during the chilly holiday season in 2023.

Her journey began with bracelets gifted from a friend and the desire to add more to her collection. So, she decided to head to the craft store and see what she could come up with. She thought with the holidays coming up, it was a perfect chance to create personalized bracelets as gifts for her friends and family.

Thus, the appreciation her family and friends expressed towards the thoughtfulness of each bracelet truly captured her heart and sparked a strong feeling inside her. That feeling gave her the idea to take her interest to the next level.

From there, she decided to start her own business. Here she was able to combine her passion for creativity with the joy of making meaningful, personalized jewelry for others. She noted that her patience, coordination, creativity, precision, and keen eye for the right colors and patterns were valuable while acquiring this special interest. She feels the ability to personalize the bracelets with names, words of encouragement, and affirmations makes them all that more special. She also admires the fact that her meaningful gifts can resonate deeply with the person receiving it and that they can represent comfort and bring inspiration.

Similarly, she highlighted that the opportunity to connect with other small businesses in the community, such as V/O Med Spa of Avon has made her journey all that more memorable. The fulfillment of collaborating and supporting one another’s growth has been inspiring. Along with that, the joy of being a part of an uplifting network to help one another thrive.

Even though she works on her bracelets independently, her family has been incredibly supportive. Their efforts to help spread the word by sharing her work with others and purchasing bracelets as thoughtful gifts to their loved ones has meant the world to her. In addition to that their encouragement as she continues to grow her business.

As she takes on the new year, she can confidently say that she is not only setting goals, but achieving them. One being to have her pieces featured in a local boutique or store, which was fulfilled this year as her bracelets can now be seen at Ali & Ike Boutique in Rocky River. As for the future, she is eager to continue growing her presence in the community and collaborating with more businesses in the area.
