Happy July, Pinnacle!

This month’s issue feels especially meaningful as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday and look ahead to the innovation, imagination, and community spirit that continue to shape our future. Our cover theme, Building the Future: From Pinnacle to the Moon, captures that perfectly. It is a celebration of big dreams, bold ideas, and the incredible people right here in our own neighborhood who are helping move the world forward.

We are honored to feature Amir Deylami on our cover this month. Many of you met the Deylami family in our October issue, and this month we are zooming in a little closer on Amir’s remarkable career with NASA. Not only was he recently named to Arkansas Business’ 40 Under 40, but he also provided us with an incredible insider’s look into NASA, Artemis II, and the vision for building humanity’s first moon base. What a special connection for Pinnacle Country Club to have as we celebrate America’s past, present, and future.

Inside this issue, we are also sharing a wonderful story about Arturo, Clancy, and Owen, three friends who grew up together in Pinnacle and are now celebrating graduation and the start of a new chapter. It is such a sweet reminder of the lifelong friendships and memories being made right here in this community.

We are also taking a closer look at the Crystal Bridges expansion, but from a slightly different angle than what you may be seeing in other publications around town. Rather than focusing only on the expansion itself, we are looking at the architecture, the vision, and the work of Moshe Safdie and the Safdie Architects team, whose design continues to shape one of Northwest Arkansas’ most beloved landmarks.

I also want to take a quick moment to clear up a little confusion we have heard from a few residents. Stroll Pinnacle is created exclusively for the residents of the Pinnacle Country Club neighborhood. I am independent from Pinnacle Country Club, but this magazine is specifically for this neighborhood only. So, if you ask friends who live outside of Pinnacle whether they receive it and they say they do not, that is why. Your stories, photos, and features stay within this neighborhood and are not shared across the city in a larger public magazine. My hope is that this gives you even more comfort and confidence in reaching out to be included. We truly love telling the stories of the people, families, pets, homes, travels, recipes, celebrations, and connections that make this community so special.
