Old Town Cleaners

Trusted from the Start

At Stroll Pinnacle, we take great pride in our long-standing partnerships—none more so than our relationship with Old Town Dry Cleaners, a founding sponsor of the magazine and a trusted name in Northwest Arkansas. From the very beginning, Mark and Dana Mathias have believed in Stroll Pinnacle’s  mission to serve and connect the families of Pinnacle Country Club, and their continued support and trust mean the world to us.

From Retirement to Reinvention

Mark Mathias, a University of Arkansas graduate with a degree in Business and Transportation, spent his early career at JB Hunt before retiring in his early 50s. Not quite ready to slow down, he and his wife Dana explored business ownership and found their perfect match in Old Town Dry Cleaners.

“We had owned some laundromats and thought dry cleaning would be a good fit,” Mark recalls. “But we had no idea how detailed the business really is. Eventually, we sold the laundromats to focus solely on Old Town.”

Resilience in Challenging Times

That focus paid off. With a dedication to excellent customer service and an ability to pivot when times got tough—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when their business dropped by over 80% overnight—Mark and Dana built a resilient, community-driven business. In response to the downturn, they launched a Wash & Fold program and enhanced their Pickup & Delivery services, which are now among their most popular offerings.

A Full-Service, Customer-First Experience

Old Town Dry Cleaners now provides a wide range of services including same-day and next-day dry cleaning, household item care, “pass through” alterations, leather and fur cleaning, formalwear preservation, and more. They even boast a surprising list of specialty cleanings, having worked on everything from the NWA Naturals’ mascot uniform to the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales’ horse blankets!

Their customer-first philosophy is simple: "We hate to tell our customers no," Mark says. "We go out of our way to make life easier with consistent, high-quality service."

Growth Fueled by Community Loyalty

About two years ago, the Mathias family built a new plant to support their growing business, which now serves customers across Washington and Benton counties, and even into Neosho and Harrison. With a second shift recently added, their team continues to grow—some employees have been with Old Town for 10 to 20 years, a testament to the family-like culture they’ve created.

Family, Community, and Gratitude

Mark and Dana have been married for 40 years and are proud parents and grandparents who cherish time with their growing family. As Northwest Arkansas natives, they are deeply invested in giving back—supporting local school districts, Saving Grace NWA, and other causes that benefit the community they love.

From everyone at Stroll Pinnacle, we extend a heartfelt thank you to Old Town Dry Cleaners. Your unwavering support, commitment to quality, and servant-hearted business model make you a cornerstone of our community—and we’re honored to spotlight your story.
