South Shore Sponsors Unite to Support Anti-Trafficking Efforts at Second Annual N2GIVES Luncheon

South Shore Publishers at the 2025 N2GIVES Luncheon

This past November, nearly 100 South Shore business owners — six N2 publishers along with dozens of their local Stroll, Greet, BeLocal, and Real Producers magazine sponsors — joined together for an afternoon that blended networking, community, and meaningful impact. The second annual N2GIVES Luncheon was held on November 17 at ALBA on 53 in Hanover, Massachusetts.
Yes, the room was full of great conversation and new introductions. But at its heart, this luncheon was about something deeper: standing together against human trafficking and supporting nonprofits doing vital work to help survivors rebuild their lives.

A Community Gathering With a Purpose
Thanks to the support of attendees, 50 percent of all ticket proceeds were donated to Amilia’s Light (www.amiliaslight.org), a locally based nonprofit that empowers survivors of human trafficking through programs that build dignity, confidence, and long-term self-sufficiency. The remaining half supported N2GIVES, The N2 Company’s charitable arm.

Our South Shore publishing team — Stroll Pinehills' Katriena Devlin, along with Luci Scott, Mary Harrington, Melissa Schorr, Mariel Donovan, and Mark Walter — led the charge in organizing this event. Their dedication reflects what makes our local publications so special: passionate franchise owners who care deeply about their communities and use their platforms to bring people together.

The luncheon also served as an important reminder that every sponsor who partners with our magazines is part of this mission. Through N2GIVES, 2 percent of The N2 Company’s annual total revenue, including a portion of every local sponsorship, directly funds vetted anti-trafficking nonprofits working to end human trafficking globally.

A Decade of Giving and a Growing Impact
In 2026, N2GIVES will celebrate 10 years of philanthropy, with lifetime donations projected to reach $30 million. What began as a commitment to giving back has evolved into one of the largest, most consistent funding streams for anti-trafficking work among corporate giving programs.

That impact wouldn’t be possible without the thousands of small business owners who believe in our publications and invest in their communities through their sponsorships.

With human trafficking impacting communities across the globe — Massachusetts included — the need for awareness and action remains urgent. Our South Shore publishers and sponsors showed that local business leaders can drive meaningful change when they unite behind a shared purpose.

The enthusiasm, generosity, and sense of community in the room made this year’s luncheon their strongest yet. We’re already looking forward to continuing this mission and growing the event in the years to come.

A heartfelt thank-you to every business owner who attended, supported, or helped spread the word. Your involvement makes an extraordinary difference.
