Carol’s Dirt Cake

As we patiently await May flowers next month, why not try this alternative in the meantime? Grab your favorite pot and start the growing season early!

INGREDIENTS
2 (10 oz packages) of Keebler Fudge Mint Delight cookies (Formerly Grasshoppers)
1 (8 ounce) package whipped cream cheese, softened
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup powdered confectioners' sugar
2 cups milk
1 (12 ounce) container Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (3.4 ounce) packages Jell-O vanilla instant pudding mix

DIRECTIONS
Finely crush cookies in a food processor; set aside. That’s your dirt. Optional: Roughly crush brownies to mix into the dirt.

Combine cream cheese, butter, and confectioner's sugar in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

In a separate large bowl, whisk milk and pudding together, according to package directions.

Fold in cream cheese mixture until well combined. Fold in Cool Whip.

Alternately layer crushed cookies and pudding mixture in a medium-sized flower pot, starting and ending with cookies.

Chill dirt cake in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Decorate with a fake flower and gummy worms if you’d like.

Enjoy!
