The Magic of Bo Gulledge: Persimmon Ridge’s Own Illusionist
From corporate stages to neighborhood parties, Bo Gulledge has been casting spells with sleight of hand since childhood. Today, this data architect still keeps the magic alive—one trick at a time.
Living on Eagle Trace Court, Bo Gulledge might seem like your everyday neighbor. But don’t let his day job as an Enterprise Data Architect at Kentucky Farm Bureau fool you. Behind the scenes, Bo brings a touch of wonder to the world as a seasoned magician and the creative force behind A Touch of Magic.
Bo’s fascination with magic began at just 8 years old after watching a performance by Presto the Clown. That second-grade spark turned into a lifelong passion. He spent three years performing magic full time, amazing crowds at corporate events, trade shows, birthday parties, and festive holiday gatherings.
Although Bo now focuses on magic as a side passion, he continues to share his talents for a good cause. He regularly performs at charity events and recently wowed the crowd at the Thunder Over Persimmon Ridge Fourth of July celebration.
Bo’s specialty lies in close-up magic, also known as “walk-around magic”, which allows for intimate, up-close illusions that leave people in awe. He rotates through a polished set of eight high-quality tricks, but his all-time favorite is the “Bunnies Magic Trick,” a sleight-of-hand routine that took over 100 hours to master. His wife, Tonya, prefers the playful and mind-bending "Crazy Man’s Handcuffs" trick.
Bo has also made his mark in the professional magic world, serving as Vice President of the prestigious Louisville Magic Club, a respected stop for magicians nationwide.
With a love for laughter, storytelling, and surprise, Bo Gulledge continues to bring magic to the Persimmon Ridge community—one astonished smile at a time.
