Rooted in Faith, Made in America
Meet Rob Ivey of VINE AMERICAN
For Rob Ivey, owner of VINE AMERICAN and resident of Persimmon Ridge, launching a new business wasn’t just about creating a product—it was about living out his faith and building something with purpose. A former golf professional with a lifelong passion for the game, Rob saw a gap in the market: nearly all golf and lifestyle apparel was made overseas. With an eye for detail and a desire to support American jobs, he launched VINE AMERICAN just two months ago with a bold mission—to produce premium, American-made apparel with a higher calling.
Inspired by John 15:5, “Jesus is the vine, we are the branches,” Rob named his company VINE AMERICAN to reflect its spiritual foundation. He sees the brand as a way to blend faith, family values, and patriotism. Every piece—from polos to hoodies—is proudly manufactured in the U.S. A portion of all profits (10%) is donated to local charities in Louisville, with plans to expand that outreach nationwide.
Rob and his wife of 14 years have lived across from the Persimmon Ridge golf course for six years. Their two daughters attend Christian Academy of Louisville, and the family is active at Southeast Christian Church. Whether it's golf, church, or community events, the Iveys are passionate about staying connected.
Looking ahead, Rob plans to grow VINE AMERICAN into a full lifestyle brand for men, women, and children. His advice to others: pursue work that brings joy and meaning. “I wish I had started this earlier,” he says, “but I’m grateful for the opportunity to do it now.”
VINE AMERICAN isn’t just a brand—it’s a mission stitched into every garment. Learn more at vineamerican.com.
